QUESTION/ISSUE

Is there a way to install multiple instances of BetaFlight Configurator on your PC?  I've got a TinyHawk (which needs v10.4.0), a TinyHawk S (which needs v10.5.1), and a TinyHawk II (which needs v10.6.0).  It seems whenever I install a new version (even if I put it in a different folder) it overwrites the old version so I keep needing to reinstall the correct BetaFlight version whenever I switch to a different drone.  Solution?

SOLUTION/WORKAROUND

That is a common frustration. One workaround is to install one version with a custom name/filepath (i.e. change "Betaflight-Configurator" to "Betaflight-Configurator10.4"), go into the program folder and cut out all the folders/files, paste that into a temporary folder on my desktop.

Install the second version with a custom name/filepath (i.e. change "Betaflight-Configurator" to "Betaflight-Configurator10.5"), go into the program folder and cut out all the folders/files, paste that into a temporary folder on my desktop.

Install the third version with a custom name/filepath (i.e. change "Betaflight-Configurator" to "Betaflight-Configurator10.6"). Then, finally, take the contents of the temporary folder and past it back into the Betaflight program folder. You should now have three folders in there.

Within each of those folders/versions, there should be a "betaflight-configurator.exe" file. Each of those should now open their respective version of Betaflight Configurator. Rename or create shortcuts as you wish to distinguish them.

(When you run an older Configurator, just click "Close" in the pop-up "Notice" telling you to update.)
